Founded in 2006, the Microfinance Alliance has hosted speakers covering numerous topics and
attended microfinance events, including hearing Muhammad Yunus, Winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace
Prize, speak at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum. Members have been invited to speak about microfinance
locally and pursued their microfinance interests globally in Asia, Africa, and South America.
